Hey 1Screeners! (As suggested by DarkwingedThumper) Happy Saturday. Update notes

So my kid has been watching these youtube videos where this guy makes incredibly elaborate mazes for their pet hamster. I was watching this one which includes a cardboard hospital when I realized, oh my god I am basically this person and you are my hamster.



Anyway (my cute little hamster) here is what I have made for you with my latest update:

• An intro cutscene. It shows how the first 1 Screen Platformer story connects to this game. If you haven’t played 1SP here it is https://store.steampowered.com/app/791180/1_Screen_Platformer/
• Run timer doesn’t actually start until you move first. So at the start of the game you can just crack your knuckles, stretch your neck, wiggle your fingers in preparation. Then the nanosecond you push the dpad or one of the face button, boom the timer starts. (Thanks to Oreo 321 for their continued feedback on timer)
• There was a case of timer “drift” if you kept playing multiple rounds your timer would actual start a few seconds later. That is fixed now.
• Fixed a bug where you could actually cheat and jump ahead to the last checkpoint and then beat the game in under 2 minutes. Thanks for the Fix ARM2571. Sorry I had to delete your time.
• On the main menu I made the round score bigger A, B, C, D, S. No longer is it a tiny weird font running into the label. Now it should stand out more like the effort you put into it.
• Added a 1-way platform in the first room with a little tooltip that says push down. This is to teach you can push down to fall through. This was from feedback from a Discord user who said they didn't know you can do that. So I built this as a teaching mechanism. Hope you knew you could push down.
• Fixed the laser bouncy pad area on the far right of the ship. I want it to have a better “rhythm” to it. I am pretty sure I am done tinkering with that area now. Good luck

Extra side note. I really try and get these to you every Thursday but I was troubleshooting this NASTY arrays bug regarding the checkpoints and I couldn't upload a broken build. So it took me a couple days to fix it. Next update will be uploaded on Thursday August 6th!
