Development update
[p]Hey there!
It's been a while since I last gave an update on the progress of 15 Minutes so I thought it was time to start talking about what has been going on in thast time.
Since launching the Steam page announcing 15 Minutes the game has been going through major development with most recently having a new UI overhaul to accomodate handheld gaming devices like Steam Deck and others.
Recently I reworked the mission manager to make it more flexible for handling multiple endings and also game modes, NG+ will be a unlockable play mode where players will be able to set the number of loops and randomize the anomalies during those loops.
This brings the challenge of how to apply this to the idea of 15 minutes but there are interactable objects placed in the map which when activated will alter gameplay in some interesting ways.
One of the most recent changes is how Entities work in 15 Minutes.
Entities are the special type of Anomaly which are more akin to NPCs than environmental changes.
15 Minutes mission manager is combined with the AI Director to help make the experience more immersive whilst also guiding the player if it detects they may be stuck.
In Recent weeks I have been working to optimize 15 Minutes and make it perform well on the Steam Deck, I grew up with mobile gaming and want to do my part supporting it with the games I work on so you will be hearing more over time.
I plan on releasing more updates in the weeks and months ahead along with more feature updates. [/p]
