1WEEK 1.5.1 on SteamOS

1WEEK 1.5.1 on SteamOS

[p][/p][p]Version 1.5.1 of 1WEEK has been tested on a Lenovo Legion Go S SteamOS Edition, a handheld device that ships with SteamOS preinstalled.[/p][p]The tests were performed directly on SteamOS, running the Windows version of 1WEEK through Proton.[/p][p]During testing, the game remained stable and worked correctly with controller input and the main gameplay systems.[/p][p][/p]
Successfully tested
  • [p]Launching the game through Steam.[/p]
  • [p]Controller support.[/p]
  • [p]Movement and interactions.[/p]
  • [p]Inventory and equipment management.[/p]
  • [p]Menus and UI.[/p]
  • [p]Building and object interaction.[/p]
  • [p]Save and load behavior.[/p]
  • [p]General gameplay performance.[/p]
  • [p]Resolution handling on handheld displays.[/p][p][/p]
Handheld and controller improvements
[p]Version 1.5.1 also includes several small quality-of-life improvements based on handheld testing:[/p]
  • [p]The B / Return button now closes the inventory when playing with a gamepad.[/p]
  • [p]Tooltip positioning has been improved when using the virtual gamepad cursor.[/p]
  • [p]Selected menu buttons are now much easier to identify on smaller displays.[/p]
  • [p]Cursor sensitivity settings have been improved, including a wider usable range and persistent settings between sessions.[/p][p][/p]
Resolution selector improvement
[p]Testing on SteamOS also revealed an issue with the resolution selector related to the way some refresh rates are reported through Proton.[/p][p]This could cause the resolution list to appear empty on certain configurations.[/p][p]This issue has been fixed in version 1.5.1.[/p][p][/p]
Proton compatibility
[p]1WEEK currently ships as a Windows build, so Proton is required to run the game on SteamOS.[/p][p]The game has been successfully tested with:[/p]
  • [p]Proton Experimental[/p]
  • [p]Proton Hotfix[/p][p][/p]
[p]Thank you to everyone playing 1WEEK on handheld devices.[/p][p]Testing on SteamOS will continue, and any compatibility issues found along the way will be addressed whenever possible.[/p][p][/p][p]See you underground.[/p]
