Hello, players!
During the first month after the game's release, I was primarily busy with internship-related tasks (and also visited Yokohama). Now that those things are settled, it's time to continue development on the upcoming version.
The current version is still far from perfect, and various feedback was expected. Thankfully, most issues have already been thoroughly discussed and recorded in the official QQ group. These will become the focus for the next stage of development.
The new update is expected within one to two months. Here are some major upcoming changes:
- Rhythm System Revamp: The basic framework is already complete. You can join our official QQ group to follow real-time development updates.
- Addition of Chapters Two and Three: Chapter one primarily sets the stage, so some confusion during initial playthroughs is understandable. Future updates will clarify and expand the storyline.
- Introduction of More Special Notes: Further enhancing the rhythm gameplay experience.
- More Original Songs: We've welcomed a dedicated music producer to the team. Our theme song, recently produced, is also available in the QQ group.
Additionally, we've highlighted some key issues (though this list isn't exhaustive) that we'll address::
- Long-note Judgement, Feedback, and Overall Rhythm Gameplay Feel: These related issues will be addressed collectively within the new rhythm system, ensuring the rhythm game remains enjoyable even as a standalone experience.
- Roguelike Elements and Progression Balance: Current numerical curves aren't quite right. Once the rhythm system update is stable, I'll recalculate and balance these numbers.
- Art Asset Shortage: Many of our current art assets are AI-generated and vary in quality. We currently lack dedicated artists, creating a significant bottleneck. We're actively seeking solutions, including potential outsourcing.
- New Player Tutorial: Integrating tutorials seamlessly with gameplay mechanics and story is challenging. We'll strive to create a more immersive and beginner-friendly experience in the next update.
- Ongoing adjustments and improvements.
- Other Bugs: These will continue to be addressed in future testing phases.
Lastly, thank you all very much for playing and providing feedback! Since this isn't the final version, your willingness to play and offer feedback means a great deal (bow).
We're also actively looking for talented artists! Even if you're just interested in providing feedback or tracking our latest development updates, feel free to join our QQ group: 603725207.
