3030 Deathwar Redux - Update 0.932 - Improved Trading and juicier Derelicts!

Hey guys!

This week's update main changes are focused on improving derelicts and trading!

We've added more displays and info to the trade screen, like an image of the goods (you can even remember it and recognize it floating in space). We've also made it easier to buy and sell larger amounts of goods, so you can start your trader career in earnest now! :)

Derelicts can now have multiple crates, with more varied content, like money, Nebula pieces or goods. They are also persistent now, so they won't just disappear once you've left the derelict.

Moneyball, the notorious and illegal passtime of pirates galaxy-wide, has also been improved. The cashball that you need to catch now behaves more smartly and should pose more of a challenge. Go get your race on in one of the pirate systems!

We've also added the oft-requested continuous music option. It needs to be activated in the options menu once. There is the tiny possibility that it could create issues on some systems. Please do let us know if you experience any crash or odd behaviour!

  • Made JBO less skilled and have less missiles
  • Added hint when ships are invulnerable to damage
  • Fixed certain upgrades not appearing in upgrade list
  • Fixed possible crash in missile code
  • Updated ECM and nebula datadiscs
  • Improved Moneyball by making cashball smarter
  • Fixed Moneyball racers' behaviour
  • Removed Bio Reader from start of game
  • Fixed death screen objects
