Patch Notes

3dSunshine 0.3.1 is Full of New Features!

We just pushed 0.3.1, and it's full of exciting stuff.

You'll notice some small stuff:
-Space Engineers blocks snap more readily
- We fixed the bug that required you to have mouse focus on 3dSunshine for the program to function properly
- If you're an Oculus user you'll notice nicer Touch controller models

And some bigger stuff:
-You can now toggle between block and group mode on the controller itself
- We added block type filters and search for Space Engineers blocks

And a really big thing
- Dye for Space Engineers. Here are some of the ways you can use dye:

Ink Pearls
-You can drag an ink through an SE block, and it will change colors
-You can also drag SE blocks through ink, and they will color
-You can snap inks together to make structures (which you can drag through things — like making a stamp or a sword you can paint with)

Color Picker
-You can use the Color Picker to generate new ink. Drag the slider to change the color of the ink at the top. Then you can grab that ink and use it to color things.
-You can drag ink onto the pin on top of the Color Picker to set the color of the picker
-You can drag a group of blocks (and/or inks) onto the Color Picker to set its color to the average of those colors

Coloring the SE Library
-You can drag a block or ink onto the SE Color Picker to set the color picker to the color of that block or ink
-If you drag a group of blocks and/or inks onto the library, all blocks colors are set to the average color of the group

Dye Tool
-Put an ink on the pin on the back of your controller to set the color for the Dye Tool
-With a color set, click and drag on SE blocks to change their color
-You can also bring your tips together, cross them, and make a volume to color many blocks at once
-If you drag a group (of blocks and/or inks) onto the Dye Tool, then each block you color will randomly get one of the colors of that group

We're going to release a build video tomorrow, as well as a more in depth tutorial on dye. So stay tuned for those.
