This update includes many backend updates & VR updates.
- Increased melee range (for both you & ant bots)
- Melee weapons are now automatic (holding standard attack will repeatedly attack, also really helpful for VR)
- Extended the range to interact with stations & bots. This should also really help in VR when trying to position yourself close to things
- Moved labels closer to the center when viewing the map in VR (easier to see nearby stations etc.)
- Removed energy use of teleporting tools in VR (since they are so often integral to general movement)
- Smoothed out cursor control when using the Vive wand touchpad
- Updated the map viewing system for better use in VR
- Updated to the latest jMonkeyEngine, LWJGL & Java builds
- Fixed a typo when using Backup stations
v1.72 adds:
- VR: Enabled the physics box around the player in Room Scale mode, so bots won't walk through you (and you can push them by walking into them)
- VR: Improved the "Reset VR Pose" option to also show in the "Input" menu, but only when Sitting/Mixed modes are enabled
v1.73 adds:
- VR: Rocketing into the sky in room scale mode should be fixed (introduced in v1.72)
- VR: Map user interface follows your gaze, just like the cursor, now
- Fixed homing projectiles going through bots at a distance (again)
v1.74 adds:
- Invetory & other dialogs will cause grappling hooks and other items to disable (which prevents lots of weird behavior & crashes)
- Tweaked group AI so they should better respond to threats as a group
- Positional audio with charging weapons should be fixed
v1.75 adds:
- Physics: switched to a different "broadphase" method, which should be faster (although stability will have to be closely monitored)
- VR: No more blurry underwater effect, which just messed up the interface. Instead, just a blue overlay is used (which will also be faster)
- VR: Adjusted gun holding angle
- Graphics: fixed UV mapping on the bottom of platform towers
v1.76, May 19th, 2016 adds:
- Fixed telelocator ball physics collisions with player (also should fix VR quick-access inconsistencies)
- VR rain fix attempt (doesn't seem to work yet)
