Updated demo is live! Patch notes

Hi everyone! It's been a while since we posted here. For those wondering how the game is progressing: everything is going well! We're nearing the end of development with four of the five routes finished: Cotton, Deadlock, Echo, and Lilco's.

To show you how the game has progressed since early 2021, which was the release of the last demo build, we've decided to release an improved version of the demo! This demo will give you a taste of what the final version will look like. :)

Speaking and non-speaking states' code has been changed
We have implemented a much faster way to transition between characters who are speaking and those who aren't. This is thanks to a plug-in developed by Wattson called Auto Highlight.

Added sprites to the game

This version of the demo adds new sprites to the game. Agatha is the customer during the Candy & Rolls scene on Day One. Lilco’s voicemail now has its own sprite.

Fixed font scaling issue
Before, there was an issue with the OpenDyslexic font's scaling. This issue caused the character names and dialogue text to sometimes go outside of the text box.

Fixed animation bug on Day One Track & Field

In the previous version of the demo, there was an animation bug that caused Lilco to pop into frame during the transition from the bleachers scene.

Fixed audio bug during Candy & Rolls scene
Audio in this scene now transitions smoothly between the town music and the Candy & Rolls music on Day One.

Minor grammar fix

Updated dialogue during the scene in Clarke’s apartment on Day One.
