Museum Update - 1.1.0
Gabriel Swiftfeather
A new villagers joins Rosehill! He’ll be helping you collect artifacts and furnish the museum by gifting you a shovel to unearth collectibles.
Gabriel lives in the atelier, a new house you can now visit in the town center. There he paints and trade artifacts with other collectors. In his shop you can find different paintings and the potion recipe for the new Artifact Elixir.
Museum
The museum is a new building right by the town center. While empty at first, it can be filled with artifacts found buried across the village and paintings from Gabriel. Artifacts are unique objects related to the village, and finding them might reveal some secrets about Rosehill and the inhabitants.
Donations are also earned by filling out the museum, as the villagers appreciate your efforts to embellish it!
Artifacts
Artifacts are old objects buried in the ground and scattered all around the village. They can be found by the beach, in the forest or even in the mine. Keep your eyes open for dirt mounds as treasures could be hidden underneath it!
Collectibles can either be a small artifact, or a broken piece of a large artifact. Large artifacts are made of three pieces and all of them must be found to complete it. Completing an artifact unlocks a short story about the object.
If you find the duplicate of a collectible, it will be bought by Gabriel to sell to other collectors. Artifact hunting can then be quite profitable!
However, not all artifacts can be found and placed in the museum for now as some of them are buried in the witch's lair. They will become available to find once this area is added to the game.
Paintings
Paintings are an addition to the late game, as it can be quite expensive to purchase every painting Gabriel has to offer and furnish the museum. However each painting added to the museum will also increase the donations received from visitors.
Artifact Elixir
A new potion has been added to the game to help you furnish the museum! While collectibles are usually hard to find, the Artifact Elixir increase your chance of encountering dirt mounds that can be dug up. It’s especially useful if you’re visiting an area that is difficult to reach and might contain artifacts.
Next Update
For the next update I’ll be working on friendship and romance! You’ll be able to unlock new dialogues as you reach higher friendship levels, go on dates and marry your favorite villager in a new bridal outfit!
