A better coordinated opponent
The computer opponent now plans around mission objectives more effectively, selecting priorities and coordinating its forces with a clearer sense of the battle's purpose.
Mission balance
- Breakout at Pelium: Two Macedonian units must now enter Pelium before the Illyrians are defeated.
- Fall of Pelium: Three Macedonian units must now enter the city.
- Jaxartes River: Five units must cross the river before the end of turn 6, reduced from six.
- Alexandria Eschate: The required enemy losses have been reduced from 80% to 70%, and the victory trigger now matches the objective.
New Unit Roster
The new Unit Roster brings Alexander's armies together in organised categories, with portraits that make it easier to browse the troops available across the campaigns.
