For the past year, you've met hundreds of animals, all of which had their own story to tell. With our Anniversary Update, these stories are deeper than ever! The Anniversary Update expands on the game's core elements and adds even more excitement, realism, and opportunities to care for animals.

🤝 Cooperate to help even more animals
Experience the joys of helping even more animals find loving homes with your friends! With the Anniversary Update, the co-op mode has been expanded, allowing you to adopt even more animals!

🔍 Diverse, emotional stories & The Notice Board
The animals in your shelter can't tell you what happened to them, but there are ways for you to find out on your own. The Anniversary Update introduces the Notice Board, where owners can post about their lost pets. Use the information given on the Notice Board and new tools such as the Chip Scanner to gather information and match the animals in your shelter to their possible owners who are anxiously waiting for their return!

❤️ Heart-warming reunions
After discovering the identity of the animals in your shelter, whether from the Chip Scanner, observing their reactions to different names, or by identifying their appearance, you will be able to arrange a meeting with their owners. These are the moments that make this work worth it!

🧠 Improved NPC and animal behavior
The animals and workers in your shelter are more intelligent than ever before, making your shelter brim with life! The new management system and an expanded scope of new responsibilities make the shelter staff more helpful. Easier task assignment allows for better organization of daily work and more effective care for all residents. The animals will now react more realistically to what is happening around them and the items in their crates, creating a more dynamic environment.

🛒 Better shopping
Even more items and mechanics are at your disposal to improve the lives of the animals in your shelter! Vaccinations, specialized food, refillable water bottles, and new bowls are some of the new items available in the new, overhauled shop. We have added improved filtering, sorting, and the ability to favorite items, making for a more comfortable shopping experience.

📸 Expanded adoption mechanics
Aside from visual improvements to the Adopters screen UI, the photo system has been improved. Now, the more interesting the photos are, with fun decorations or costumes, the more likely they will catch the eye of a potential adopter, increasing the animal's chance of adoption!
