HEY CRAB FANS

It's already been a busy year for us, so I thought we should summarise how the past few months have gone!

DEMO SHOWCASE AT GDC

We had another chance to showcase ACT for an in person event. It was really great to hear all your honest feedback and excitement for the game. We took notes, made fun of people for being bad at the game, and got to see what you enjoyed most about Another Crab's Treasure!



For those curious if the demo will ever become available online, the answer is: probably. We have plans!! BUT… Can't confirm dates or share any official news yet so hold tight on that and have some copium <3

NINTENDO JAPAN'S INDIE WORLD SHOWCASE

Today we had a segment for Nintendo Japan go live! You can watch that HERE.



We've been working on that secretly for a little while so if you're itching for some NEW GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE I recommend you check that out. We show off NEW MOVES and a NEW BOSS?!?!?

TOPODA

Speaking of new boss, meet TOPODA. A Mantis Shrimp that will really test your limits in combat. A lot of you from the community have been asking for us to add a Mantis Shrimp so it was HARD to not leak that we already had one in the game. SO HERE YA GO.

COSMETICS ANNOUNCEMENT

(Making this post made me realise how many events we've been involved in recently WOW)

The Rivals of Aether team host a showcase every April 1st called "Rivals Direct". You should watch it HERE.

Surprise surprise, WE WERE IN IT! This announced a new feature that we think a lot of you will be proud of… and that's COSMETICS.



Don't worry, we're too lazy to implement microtransactions, so they're totally free and will come with the game. This includes, but is not limited to skins like:

• Maid Costume
• Mr Money
• Blue…

We might add more as we continue development, but for now this is something to look forward to.

OKAY BUT HOW'S THE ACTUAL GAME GOING?

It's going well! We still can't announce anything about the launch date though. The team is working on the later parts of the game, plus going back to previous levels and polishing a BUNCH of stuff. Not to mention all the little nitty gritty bits in between. BASICALLY we're on that grind. Game Development hard.
