Ouka Sakura, a descendant of the once-glorious samurai family Sakura, was forced into a life of poverty after her family's downfall. She survived day to day through poaching and gathering wild plants.
However, news of the Sakura family's ruined state reached the lord's ears, resulting in the confiscation of all their possessions and a total loss of honor as samurai.
To reclaim her lost honor and trust, Sakura begins a journey of personal revival, seeking her path forward through encounters with various people.
