Post-Steam Next Fest Demo Update

It’s been awhile since our last update, let’s catch you up with what we’re doing at this moment!

First and foremost, our studio wants to extend a massive thank you to everyone who played the Steam Next Fest demo, wishlisted us on Steam or joined us on any platform to just talk about the game; The excitement you’ve all shown has been amazing and deeply motivating for all of us to make Battle Shapers the best game it can be. We’ve known from the start that the community and the players would be critical to making our early access successful, and it’s fantastic to see all of you chipping in and helping us gather feedback and grow before we’ve even launched.

What have we been doing since the demo in Steam Next Fest?

We’ve seen almost every single comment, post or video made about our game. On our end, we’re doing our best to address the feedback from the community, further optimize the game and continue the development of new features that were not yet seen in the demo build. There is a lot of new content (new cores, new weapons, new abilities, new enemies) coming in for the first early access build and we’re beyond thrilled for all of you to experience it.

What’s next?

We’re currently preparing for our attendance at Gamescom, one of Europe’s largest gaming conventions. Not only are we showing a new preview of our game, with a whole new biome there, but we’re also sharing a massive bar space with the GTFO/10 Chambers team and Unity. It’s gonna be…pretty hype, to put it casually.

That aside, with our early access approaching, we’re also finalizing our public development roadmap so all of you can see when and what new content and features we intend to add to the game. Our first early access version will only be the beginning of Battle Shapers and we want you to get an idea of what’s to come.

What do we do until release?

Keep talking to us on Discord, Steam Community and other social media. We’re constantly monitoring all these channels and we take every single message to heart. The best way you can help us is by being a part of our community and growing Battle Shapers alongside the dev team!
