Hello, everyone! We’re so excited to have another build for you, this time continuing into the Marzipan dungeon and the many dangers that await! We had more work than expected in terms of bug fixes and some system improvements that needed to happen, so thank you all for your patience and continued feedback. It is a huge help and we appreciate you all so much!

What’s new in Build v0.9.0:

• Marzipan dungeon levels unlocked, including the Trail of Might, Trial of Moxie and boss battle with the Gummy Wyrm.
• Updated Gummy Beast and Gummy Wyrm reflect actions with more obvious particle effects and visible icons.
• Refactored level-up UI to make sure Stat Increase and Action upgrade choices are presented directly to player post-encounter.
• Added stat increases for visiting with willow shrines on MZ Bridge.
• Added potential stat increase for completing Leena Moonberry quiz.
• Additional forest region and waterfall when leaving Marzipan.
• Short river run mini-game.
• A small glimpse of West Garnish.

Major Bug Fixes:

• Fixed game breaking bug in Honeybun Queen encounter with certain encounter end conditions.
• Fixed conversation position in BH Theater trapping player.
• Fixed BH Town bush colliders when placed too close to buildings, trapping player.
• Fixed Midnite Truffle’s Blacklight Vortex action, bad animation call breaks game.

Additional Updates and Smaller Fixes:

• Made status numbers and text more clear during encounters.
• Fixed road colliders near Butterworth Heights wagon crossroads.
• Fixed colliders and sorting for Creamhorns and cheeps in BH.
• Fixed dialogue balloon positions for Honeybun Queen.
• Fixed dialogue balloon positions for Leena during quiz sequence.
• Added additional background NPCs and dialogue updates in MZ University
