While we close the loop on a few of the larger features under development for v0.49.0, we thought you might enjoy a sample of what's to come. Check out what's new in v0.48.5.

New Features

-Weather Update: Rain effects have been enabled. Uncovered plants will collect water, depending on how intense the storm is.
-Weather Update: Heat waves have been added as a random event. Your plants will lose water faster over time when exposed to higher temperatures. Consider sprinklers and buckets if a heat wave strikes.
-New: Waterproof Tarps: Place waterproof tarps to protect your plants from a stormy downpour. Plants under the tarp will receive less exposure to sunlight as well.

Improvements

- Spider Mites have been re-balanced and re-released back into the game. Beware, these creepy crawlies can spread from plant-to-plant by hitching a ride on your crew members and growing webs…gross!

Bug Fixes

- Fixed a bug that caused Investigations to end before they should.
