THIS IS AN EXTREMELY MAJOR RELEASE UPDATE! EARLY ACCESS VERSION SAVES DO NO LONGER WORK!!!!



Achievement

  • "Brew this!", brew everything in alchemy
  • "So much to see!", obtain 100% completion in gallery
  • "True heroine!", save every NPC from the dungeon and have them move back to town

Alchemy

  • You can now brew potions using Alchemy

Audio

  • Message sounds are now more infrequent
  • Message sounds play at lower volume
  • Message sounds take into consideration different localizations better
  • Footsteps now make noise, this can also be turned off

Balance

  • Magic seller now also sells all second tier spells in additonal to third tier spells

Bugfix

  • Using "Clear equipment" now no longer causes item dublications.

CG

  • Added CG gallery where you can see the unlockable arts of CG, Character Art and Background Art
  • Losing to Morrigan has an unique defeat CG
  • Winning Morrigan unlocks unique victory CG
  • Sex with Natsumi is now shown with CG

Controls

  • Using keyboard + Mouse, you can use mouse to aim and WASD to move. This can be used to point your flashlight to directions without moving, when exploring the dungeon.
  • Keyboard controls now has lots of useful macros, such as the button I opens up the items menu.
  • The game now recognizes if using the gamepad and tells the correct buttons based on the controller used

Corescript

  • Updated to 1.70 (was 1.44)

Dungeon

  • First Floor now spans across two maps
  • Added new Eight Floor, which is dedicated to puzzle solving and physics
  • Moved the original Fourth Floor to work as Ninth Floor
  • Moved the original Fifth Floor to work as Tenth Floor
  • Dungeon layout is now randomized on floors 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7.

Gameplay

  • Added Alchemy
  • Added "Heal All" automatic system, where you can with a press of a button use items to fully recover fully recover the party's HP, MP, and status by using lower cost items first to higher cost ones.
  • Added Map, which you can open per each map that gets uncovered when you explore the areas, it's automatically shown at the town
  • Skill trainer is now bound somewhere inside the floor 2 and must be found before he joins the city
  • Miner is now bound somewhere inside the floor 6 and must be found before he joins the city
  • Friendly witch NPC can be found on the last floor of the dungeon and will join the city when found

Graphics

  • Zoomed the play area closer for a better visual effect
  • Added Depth of Field
  • Added Fog
  • Morrigan has a new battle sprite
  • Improved the way bust graphics are drawn, shown and removed during dialogues
  • Busts now have a breathing animation in cutscenes
  • Added Smooth Scrolling of map when moving this can be disabled for performance on lower-end systems
  • Character busts now display emotions during the battle
  • Added Lightning Effects, this can be disabled for performance on lower-end systems
  • Added Weather Effects for the main city, these can be toned down for performance on lower-end systems
  • Running now kicks up dust clouds, this can be disabled for performance on lower-end systems

Loot

  • Slimes now have 50% chance to drop Slime Drops
  • Slimes now have a rare chance to drop Health Brews
  • Slimes now ave a very rare chance to drop Energizers
  • Goblins now have a rare chance to drop Health Brews
  • Goblins now have a very rare chance to drop Energizers
  • Goblins have 25% chance to drop Purified Water
  • Increased chance that Zombies may drop Holy Water
  • Zombies now have 50% chance to drop Purified Water
  • Sir Blob has 50% chance to drop Slime Drops
  • Killer Plants have 50% chance to drop Purified Water

Messages

  • Added Message Log that records all the messages in game

Optimizations

  • Optimized all the music for smaller size to help with loading times

Performance

Tutorials

  • Added Tutorials to the game, these can be disabled if desired

UI

  • Completely reworked the battle UIs
  • Completely reworked the dialogue UIs
  • Completely reworked the save menu UI
  • Bosses now have a bigger health bar
  • Each Gauge now has unique and more relevant colors for their text
  • Each Gauge has a more sleek design instead of being plain squares
  • Added sub-category "Datalog" main menu, which opens up to reveal Quest Journal, Message Log and Battle Data Log
  • Added compass
  • Added Map which is revealed in dungeons as you play and completely in the main hub
  • Floor number is now shown on the menu screen
  • Floor number is now shown on save files
