Spring is around the corner and with it comes a new Cloud Gardens update.



We're bringing you a brand new chapter set in the industrial wasteland, with a new plant and tons of new industrial building materials to use in the Sandbox. Turn rusting factories into overgrown forests.

We're also extremely excited to bring you Gamepad Support! Now play Cloud Gardens from the comfort of your couch with a controller in mind. Designed from the ground up, and not just porting over mouse and keyboard controls, using a gamepad is truly a relaxing and elegant way to tend to your gardens.*

We're still working on showing the correct "input hints" throughout the game, so if you see a mouse instead of a thumbstick don't be alarmed. Expect this to be patched very soon.



With this update we're also introducing a tooon of new Quality of Life improvements. Alongside a complete UI overhaul to provide better clarity and work smoothly with the new gamepad controls, we've also added improved keyboard controls and shortcuts. And last, but certainly now least, the Auto-Item Grabber, the next item in the queue will now be automatically given to you. While this seems small, I can assure you the developer writing these patch notes is Over The Moon about this change. It makes the game so much smoother, one of those "how did we ever live without it?" changes.

• When doing a recording with a lot of growing plants, they are now timed to all grow within the length of the recording
• Player can now drag to move the camera while holding an item
