We've been busy updating the game, but we haven't written a release notes in more than a month, so I thought I'd make a list of things we've done. If you haven't played in a while, I think you'll be surprised with how much the game has improved!
- Huge amount of stability fixes.
- Full implementation of Team Play
- Randomize character appearance with hair color and facial hair
- New chase camera for vehicles
- Support steam invitations, and joining friends games
- Keep waypoints from jumping around
- Many sound improvements
- Make sure that when players leave the game, they drop their items
- Improve time of day transitions
- UI improvements
- Fixed issue with guns being wildly inaccurate
- Switch solution for decals. Now you can see bullet holes, etc.
- Added blood spray, and scorch mark decals
- Added a tutorial
- Remove "Host" and "Join" buttons in favor of "Play" button, since all games are identical, and you can join your friends using the steam invitation/join system.
- Improve the accuracy of bullet collisions on some complicated objects (guard towers and such)
- Hold vehicles for a time before they respawn, and make sure they won't kill anyone when they come back.
- Fix many, many issues with item spawning
- Fix pickup drops when player dies in a vehicle
- Don't "leak" items from the game
- Fix issues with ragdolls in vehicles
- Make sure the bloody construction helmet works!
- Improve some models
- Fix a large amount of particle issues
- Added some achievements
- Reduced the poly count of clothing pickups
- Fix issues with bullets and grenades under water
- Improve wakes on the boats
- Added separate Voice Volume slider.
- Added a new building
