3 WEEKS LEFT TO LAUNCH...

Hey there! Today is a good day to get hyped for the Dino Nest release that is arriving to Steam on April 29th! The game is a survival management sim. You are in control of a pack of dinos and your goal is to survive as a species as long as possible…

Here is one of the creatures that you can encounter on the Island

YOUR NEST

Subterranean nest with tunnels (completely below ground), protected living space and shelter
for your dino pack. In the nest there will be management gameplay with a relaxing atmosphere. Here you are safe from all dangers in the jungle and can take care of your dinos and manage resources.

  • You can store food and leafs.
  • You can eat or rest to gain health.
  • You can build a hatchery and hatch baby dinos.
  • You can scavenge for resources outside the cave entrance.
  • You can find water sources outside your nest and even deeper below ground.

GENETICS

One important part of the game is that dino genes can affect many things. Genes can mutate and become stronger. When your dino grows in size, health and damage scales based on your dinos genes.
Genes will be passed on from parents when you hatch the next generation. Genes can also affect the appearance of your dinos in different ways.

THE ISLAND

The gameplay on the hunt is more like a roguelike strategy survival game. As you explore the island you will expand your hunting territory and encounter creatures of all sizes.

All carnivores are hungry and wants to eat you. Be careful when you go to the waterhole to drink, there are usually alot of activity around the oasis. There are a total of 9 areas on the island with a different mix of creatures in each. Apex predators will move around to all different areas and can appear anywhere at any time. There is only one elder apex…
