Rune System
A new type of item has been added into the item shop pool called Runes. Runes are items that are attached to cards, and they provide additional abilities or effects to the card. One rune can be attached to each card in your deck. There are currently a few runes in each tier, and there are plans to add many more in the future.
New Cards
8 brand new cards have been added into the shop. Try them out :-)
General Changes
- Added a ‘Skip’ button that appears once the enemy falls below 0 health. Press it to skip viewing the remaining combat, and move on to the next phase immediately.
- The ‘Banish’ button in the shop has been removed. Instead, banishing cards is now done from the decklist view. Right click a card in this menu to remove it from your deck.
- You now gain 1 additional coin per extra hand you had at the end of combat to spend in the next shop.
- A new popup will appear at the end of each battle to show this information.
- The formula for stat gained from merging two cards has been adjusted. It now considers the xp of the merged units instead of always giving +1/+1.
Enemy Boss Ability Changes
- Enemy ability Microbe has been removed
- Enemy ability Chemical has been changed from setting an enemy’s health to 1 → setting an enemy’s attack and health to 1
- Enemy ability Scissors has been changed from dealing damage to the strongest enemy (equal to the current round) → dealing damage to all enemies (equal to current attack)
Card Balancing
- Package ability changed from summoning a random card from your entire deck → summoning the strongest card from your entire deck
- Flushed base stats changed from 2/4 → 3/3
- Flushed ability changed from gain 50/100/150% health → 33/66/100% health
- Vampire ability no longer considers its own health
- Monkey changed from tier 2 → 3
- Monkey base stats changed from 2/2 → 4/4
- Snowman ability changed from setting attack equal to 100/150/200% of health → 100/200/300% of health
- Tombstone - summoned Ghost stats changed from 2/2, 4/4, 6/6 → 3/3, 6/6, 9/9
- Witch - ability changed from giving 33/66/100% of attack → 50/100/150% of attack
Other
- Updated the visuals of various UI elements
- Card descriptions can now appear below the card if there is not enough space above.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where loading a run would keep frozen units saved
- Fixed a bug causing xp to be incorrect when loading a saved run
- Fixed an issue where mouse position was incorrectly calculated at resolutions other than 1920x1080
