Patch Notes

Relics Update (v0.2.0)

This update introduces a new system called Relics, an overhauled save system, visual changes, and more! Here are the changes:

Relics


  • A new system has been added called Relics
  • Starting on round 5, you can buy relics from the shop
  • Relics provide powerful bonuses to your hands and your run
  • Relics cost 4 gold each and you can hold up to 3 Relics at once

Visual Changes


  • The background animation has been changed
  • The transition animation has been changed

Better Saving System


  • The save system has been overhauled and improved. It will now properly save your progress during battles and shops instead of only saving at the start of each.
  • It also now properly preserves your deck order during battles, and the contents of the shop when you left.

Automatic Fast Forward


  • When you are on 3x speed, the battle animations will automatically slowly ramp up in speed over time. This will not happen on 1x or 2x speed.
  • This should reduce the time it takes for certain hands to play out.

System Changes


  • The change in the previous patch where unspent coins were carried over has been reverted. You will now lose any unspent coins upon entering the next shop.
  • You can now merge cards even if they are level 3. It will gain the stats from merging as usual.

Balance Changes


  • Enemy health has been increased
  • Bow (enemy ability): Removed from the game
  • Baby Bottle (enemy ability): Sprite and name changed from Baby Bottle → Reverse

Items

  • Ribbon: Tier changed from 3 → 2
  • Bouquet: Tier changed from 2 → 3
  • Cake: Sprite and name changed from Cake → Cake Slice

Cards

  • Package: Base stats changed from 3/3 → 2/2
  • Package: Ability changed from summoning a 1/1, 3/3, 5/5 → 3/3, 6/6, 9/9
  • Tropical Fish: Summoned Fish’s stats changed from 2/2, 5/5, 8/8 → 2/2, 6/6, 10/10
  • Tropical Fish (Golden): Changed from summoning two 4/4, 10/10, 16/16 Fish → four 2/2, 6/6, 10/10 Fish
  • Wind Face: Summoned Cloud stats changed from 2/2, 5/5, 8/8 → 2/2, 6/6, 10/10
  • Clown: Ability now only copies non-Golden abilities of allies, even if ally is Golden.
  • Clown (Golden): Ability changed from copy ability of ally ahead and ally behind as level 1/2/3 → copy ability of ally ahead as if it were level 1/2/3 and golden
  • Mechanic: Ability now only triggers non-Golden abilities of allies, even if ally is Golden.
  • Mechanic (Golden): Ability changed from triggering all ally Activated abilities as if they were level 1/2/3, twice → trigger all ally Activated abilities as if they were level 1/2/3, and golden
  • Doctor: Ability changed from Ally Hurt: Give them +0/+1, +1/+1, +2/+1 → Ally Ahead Hurt: Give them +1/2/3 health

Other

  • Shark: Should now properly eat Ghosts spawned from Tombstone
  • Fixed a bug where Clown copying Zombie ability was not working properly
