August System Updates and Improvements
Greetings, Ballers!
Thank you to all our dedicated Freestyle 2 players for your continuous
passion and feedback!
This August, we’re rolling out key system updates including the
2025 Summer Balance Patch, a revamped Record Search system,
and enhanced MVP calculations to bring a more detailed and
competitive experience.
We’ve also added new features like the Freestyle & Ceremony Preview to
help you enjoy the game even more!
Check out the latest updates coming your way and gear up for all the
thrills waiting in FreeStyle 2!
→ The 2025 Summer Season Balance Patch will be implemented with the
update on 8/6 (Wed).
→ The record search system, which allows you to check various records of
in-game characters, has been updated.
→ The existing [Ranking] menu has been updated to the
[Ranking & Record] menu.
→ Starting Wednesday, August 6th, you can only view your character's
last 20 matches in the ranking search. (Opening later)
(a) Full Record Search System
→ You can enter through [Record Search] in the [Ranking & Record]
menu.
→ When you enter [Record Search], your character's information is
displayed by default.
~ Play Graph
→ You can check each play graph of [Ranked Match] and [All-Star League].
→ Records are displayed on a 'daily basis' and will not be recorded if the
play display graph criteria are not met.
(Only recorded if the character has a 'regular match' play record.)
> [Ranking Match] If the placement test is in progress, it will not be
recorded.
> [Ranked Match] Characters who give up on the season will not be
recorded.
> [All-Star League] Characters that do not meet the play conditions will not
be recorded.
~ Season Career High
→ Displays the best season-related records for Ranked Play and All-Star
League.
→ Ranked Match : Displays the records of pro channels played during the
season (1 month).
→ All-Star : Displays the record of the pro channels played during the
season (1st quarter: 3 months).
> Ranked matches are calculated based on the records from one month.
> All-Star League records are combined over a three-month period.
~ Find user information
→ You can check the character's information by entering the character name.
→ However, if there is no character matching the entered character name,
search is not possible.
~ Recent record
→ Displays the wins, losses, and win rate for the character's last 20
matches.
→ If there are less than 20 matches in progress, the record is displayed
based on the number of matches.
> Draw matches are not shown in the record.
> In case of winning percentage, it is rounded up to the first decimal place.
~ Match record information
→ Up to 20 matches are displayed, and if there are more than 20 matches,
the oldest matches will not be displayed.
> Draw matches are not shown in the records.
> The ranked match rank and characteristics of the playable character are
displayed based on the match progress time.
~ Current Ranked Match Information
→ Displays the character's ranking data.
> If you do not participate in the season, give up on the season, or
take the placement test, your ranked match score will not be displayed.
~ Current All-Star League Information
→ Displays the character's All-Star League data.
> If the season All-Star score is 0, the All-Star League score will not
be displayed.
~ Ranked League Record Comparison
→ Compares and displays my ranked match data with the current season's
ranked match data.
~ Data (ALL) : Data of all position-specific characters who participated in the
current season's ranking battles
~ Data (TOP) : Data of the TOP 100 characters by position who participated
in the current season's ranking match
~ Data (MY) : Data of my character who entered the current season page
> For ALL and TOP data, it is displayed based on users who participated in the
ranking match placement test.
> For MY data, data including 10 placement test matches will be displayed
upon completion of the placement test.
(a) Match results screen
~ Added Face-up record
→ During match play, check the record of collision situations with opposing
characters.
→ The record of the collider who is the subject of the collision increases.
> Collisions between characters not holding the ball are not included in the
'Face Up Record'.
~ MVP Formula improvement
→ The MVP formula includes effective resistance, face-ups, and jump ball
records.
(b) Ranking screen
~ Add New records
→ You can check the 'Average Jump Ball', 'Average Collision',
'Average Effective Resistance', and 'Winning Efficiency' records in the
Ranked Match Detail Records.
→ The ‘Receive Rank Reward’ button in the [Record Ranking] tab will be
removed, and the record ranking reward will be removed.

~ Add New records
→ 'Jump Ball', 'Effective Resistance', and 'Face Up' records have been added
to the records that can be checked through the [Team Match Record] menu.
→ Freestyle preview feature added.
→ Added ceremony preview feature.
> However, the entrance ceremony will be improved in the future.
