The adjustments/improvements marked as (Community) were made based on feedback from our Steam Community, Twitter and Discord users. We will keep on improving the game based on everyone's opinions.
GetsuFumaDen:Undying Moon Patch Notes V0.2.8
New Additions
- Added the new playable character, Getsu Renge.
Puppet Getsu Renge will randomly appear while moving between stages.
If Puppet Getsu Renge is defeated, Getsu Renge will appear in the Getsu Clan Estate as a playable character.
* Puppet Getsu Renge will appear on all difficulties.
- Introducing enhancements exclusive to Getsu Renge.
- Getsu Renge's Training Manual is now an in-game drop item.
Getsu Renge Training Manual will only be found when you play as Getsu Renge, whereas Getsu Fuma's Training Manuals will drop when you play as Getsu Fuma.
The enhancement item Spirit Mineral (Train) can be used by both Getsu Fuma and Getsu Renge.
Masteries are a shared feature for all characters in the game. Once unlocked, their effects will be available regardless of which character you are playing.
- Added the "Dismantle" feature.
To Dismantle a weapon, press and hold the RB (default) button while touching the weapon you no longer want.
By using Dismantle, you can obtain the Fragments in amounts proportional to the weapon's value
- Adjusted performance of the game.
Gameplay Adjustments
- (Community) Changed the coloring of Berserkers to increase their visibility.
- Skeleton Soldier and Skeleton Archer are now increased in size when appearing as Berserkers.
- Changed the color of the Skeleton Soldier's katana to increase its visibility.
- (Community) Changed the Skeleton Archer's attack motion so that there is a longer opening before it attacks.
- Enemies will now take less time to disappear after death, and will no longer overlap with other objects on-screen.
- In addition to Coins and Material Pouches, rare weapons, keys for locked stages, and diagrams will now drop on rare occasions from the bosses of each stage.
- The landing animation after jumping or falling from heights can now be cancelled with other actions.
- The staggered motion that occurs after taking damage can now be canceled with an evasive action.
- The mechanism that limited effects of Masteries and Training according to difficulty level has been changed so that it is now applied to all difficulty levels. There are no changes to the rules for obtaining diagrams.
- (Community) Increased chances of materials dropping from enemies.
- (Community) Increased chances of Spirit Mineral (Train) and Spirit Mineral (Master) dropping from enemies.
- (Community) Diagrams, Mastery Books and Training scrolls obtained during the game will no longer be lost upon death.
- (Community) Changed the amount and type of materials needed for unlocking certain Activation skills.
- (Community) Changed the cost requirements for learning the following Masteries: Material Recovery and Spirit Mineral Recovery.
- (Community) Changed the effectiveness of the following Masteries: Material Recovery, Material Recovery: Mastery 1, Spirit Mineral Recovery, and Spirit Mineral Recovery: Mastery 1.

- Fixed a problem where the setting to increase Special Ability parameters would not work properly when using the main weapon's Soul Devour, and some Special Abilities have been enhanced.
- Adjusted the damage of some sub weapons that were causing more damage than expected.
- Adjusted the damage of some sub weapons that were causing less damage than expected.
- Changed one of Raido, the Great Bow's qualities from Ammo + to Cooldown -.

System Adjustments
- (Community) The mini-map's transparency has been increased slightly to make it easier to see behind the map.
- Pop-up messages are no longer displayed during actions.
- Revised options for changing screen resolution.
- Changed the key configuration setup to make it easier to configure.
- Expanded the keyboard configuration to include more keys and options that can be set.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a problem where the setting to increase Special Ability parameters would not work properly when using the main weapon's Soul Devour.
- Fixed a problem where the effect of Enhanced Vitality would be overwritten if the higher-level skill Enhanced Vitality: Mastery 1 was acquired before the Enhanced Vitality Training skill.
- Fixed a problem in which the activation conditions for weapon skills Purple Slash, Orange Slash, Vermilion Slash, Yellow Slash, Blue Slash, Purple Break, Orange Break, Vermilion Break, Yellow Break, and Blue Break referred to the player's own state, rather than the state of the target enemy.
- Fixed a problem where some of Getsu Rando's attacks had no upper hitbox.
- Fixed a problem where enemies did not die from player-inflicted status effects.
- Fixed a problem where the distance needed to disable the effects of the Parasite status effect was too long.
- Fixed a problem where the Geisha Spirit (Turned)'s attacks would end up behind the terrain of the platform and out of sight.
- Fixed a problem where some of the tutorial screenshots were in Japanese.
- Fixed a problem where characters were taking continuous damage upon coming into contact with the spike traps in the Frozen Graveyard.
- Fixed a problem where it was impossible to get the Unwavering achievement even if the conditions were met.
- Fixed a problem where it was possible to get the Indomitable achievement with less than the specified number. There will be no changes for those wo have already received this achievement.
- Fixed an issue where damage would occur when approaching an enemy immediately after their Frozen state had ended.
- Fixed a problem where the Soul Devour Reppu (Minor) Special Ability was not working.
- Fixed a problem where Caltrops would disappear when a player took damage even if the Caltrops were still in effect.
- Fixed a problem where the footsteps sounds in the Getsu Clan Estate were sometimes incorrect.
- Fixed a problem where the wrong song would play when suspending/resuming the game in Misty Peaks.
- Fixed a problem where the models for the main weapons Antique Spear and Keen Spear were swapped in-game.
- Changed the taskbar's application icon from Unreal Engine's to GetsuFumaDen's.
- Some in-game text has been adjusted and changed.
Known Problems
- We are looking into a problem where the Frozen status does not affect Puppet Getsu Renge.
- There is a problem where Getsu Renge can swing weapons fast even when equipped with a heavy weapon such as a club.
- There is a problem where enemies that spawn in narrow areas of the map do not move correctly.
- We are looking into a problem where unexpected enemies appear in the Frozen Graveyard and The Great Wave of Damnation.
- We are looking into a problem where the destruction animations for some destructible objects are not displaying properly.
- We have confirmed a rare bug where when you pass through the golden Torii gate in Avenue of Pleasure and Illusion, you might be warped to a non-existant area. If this happens, please exit to the Title screen and restart the game.
