[p][/p][p]A Networking Revolution (with a hint of pain)[/p][p]We had to completely rewrite the game's networking code. Yes, it was tough — feel free to send your sympathies to our programmer.[/p][p]But it was worth it: we've moved from Photon to Mirror, now using Steam P2P.[/p][p][/p][p]Instant Connection via Steam Invite[/p][p]The first — and probably most delightful — new feature for you is instant connection to friends through Steam.[/p][p]No more copying lobby codes or waiting for your friend to figure out where to paste them.[/p][p]Just click “Invite Friend” — and they’re in your lobby![/p][p][/p][p]But if someone’s not on your friends list — no worries![/p][p]The lobby code system is still here. Just share the code and jump into the game — no need to add each other as friends.[/p][p]Simple and convenient.[/p][p][/p][p]Another big advantage — Steam now automatically picks the best connection route between players.[/p][p]No more manual server selection — it’s all handled for you.[/p][p][/p][p]Network Traffic Optimization[/p][p]During the code rewrite, we got rid of excessive network calls that used to overload the connection, and completely reworked the object synchronization system — it’s now smoother and more stable.[/p][p][/p][p]We also improved physical synchronization — for example, tools and items now fall more realistically on the client side, with no more teleporting or jittering.[/p][p]Network load has been significantly reduced in scenes with lots of objects.[/p][p][/p][p]All these improvements have significantly increased the stability and responsiveness of the game’s networking.[/p][p][/p]

New ghost

[p][/p][p]"And this… is Viy.." [/p][p]According to the gathered data, this entity is shrouded in a terrifying, almost tangible darkness. Its presence immediately alters the environment: crystalline structures blacken, as if poisoned by its very aura.[/p][p][/p][p]Level 1 – When interacting with salt, causes it to darken, though no visible traces are left behind.[/p][p][/p][p]Level 3 – On laser projection, shows no signs of movement — he simply stands motionless for a period of time, then vanishes.[/p][p][/p][p]But the most terrifying part — he can distort gravity.[/p][p]Everything around him sinks into a thick, oppressive mire: air, objects, even thoughts grow heavy.[/p][p]He can increase pressure to unbearable levels.[/p][p][/p][p]Level 5 – At the start of a hunt, he can affect the victim in such a way that they temporarily lose the ability to stand, forced to crawl for a limited time.[/p][p] [/p][p]- When he materialized, I felt a crushing weight — like I was wearing two hundred bulletproof vests. Additional Changes:

[p]One of the previous issues was the save system being located in the game’s installation folder. In some cases, this caused errors due to the application lacking access to that directory. Additionally, there were complications with multi-user saves: when multiple users shared the same computer, their progress could be overwritten, leading to inconvenience.[/p][p]In the latest version, we’ve addressed these problems: the save system has been moved to a system directory, and full multi-account support has been implemented. problems.[/p][p][/p]
