GIBZ - Wizard & Xmas Update



The final boss: The Wizard is now in the game! along with new achievements, hats and some weapons. An Xmas event is also going on in-game starting from today until the 31st. Collect the two Xmas achievements and hats as well as enjoy the increased coin and hat drops in the Treasure mini-game (and free crates in the Church each day).

  • Added the final boss fight: The Wizard!
  • 6 new achievements
  • New leaderboard: Wizard Boss Clear Time
  • 3 new pieces of facewear
  • New sidearm: Hand Crossbow (found in encounters in later zones) + a SPECIAL "sidearm" acquired with a facewear buff
  • New melee weapon: Broadsword (unlocked via achievement)
  • Xmas Event! Now until the 31st of December (UTC)
  • 2 Xmas achievements and hats to hunt down
  • Try and find a zombie that's getting into the holiday mood. Then kill him and take his hat.
  • Can you find the legendary Deerwolf and claim it's antlers?
  • Treasure mini-games have a small snow cloud above them - dig in the snow for improved chances of coins and hats
  • Each day find 8 crates sitting in the church (containing coins and random hats from any zone)
  • Crates containing weapons, hats or facewear have coloured ribbons on them
  • Added new music for the Tower Bridge Battle
  • Firing your weapon now interrupts melee attacks when they are near the end of their animation
  • Updated Kill-streak UI (more animated / the skulls indicating kills now shrink before disappearing)
  • Updated Boss Health UI to now slide off screen instead of disappearing suddenly on boss death
  • Increased difficulty of the Goliath boss fight (increased punch damage and range, more zombies for him to eat, prioritises eating over punching)
  • Tweaked sound effects so their volume now scales based on where they're coming from (sounds off screen are quieter)
  • Increased collision box size of supa weapons making them easier to pick up when leaping over them
  • Added mouse click-drag scrolling to certain menus
  • Optimisations to sprite sheets / textures (plus the game shouldn't crash when the GPU's max texture size is less than 4096 now)
  • Crosshair is now hidden when using Gatling Guns
  • Improved/fixed up shrooms (maggot host enemy)
  • Various networking fixes/improvements
  • Various small bug fixes
  • Various crash fixes
