All affect save games unless otherwise stated.

Gameplay / Balancing

  • Loss of attributes from age now slowed further if fighter has good work ethic and training focus is set to the attribute you want to preserve. N.B. mental attributes are immune to age decline anyway.
  • Fighters can now freely disengage when their opponent has fallen.
  • Injuries now re-load properly when you re-load into the middle of a fight.
  • Made enemy AI more aggressive and less likely to keep defending when >50 control.
  • Prevented a fighter who fails an energy check on attacking from ‘jumping back’ to prevent a counterattack
  • Further tweaked AI team management to try to improve decision making on hiring and firing.
  • Encouraged AI to attack more when flanking and ‘outflank’ less.
  • Increased base (and minimum) energy recovery on resting from 10 -> 12
  • Slightly increased chances of AI deciding to rest when needing energy.

UI / Text / Engine

  • Added total career damage dealt and taken to the drop options in the player records screen.
  • Added a label on character creation screen to let the player know the ID# of the different portrait parts in case they want to recreated that portrait later.
  • Correct achievement descriptions for 5 killer and 10 killer – both of which require kill streaks rather than total kills – this is one of the toughest achievements in the game, but a handful of people have managed it!
  • Optimised “scouting for new fighters” in every fourth week. It was getting slower as the game moved along. This is now fixed and it should remain more or less lightning fast now however many seasons you have completed.

Fixes / Amendments

  • Injuries now re-load properly when you re-load into the middle of a fight.
  • Re-loading mid battle now correctly re-loads fighter energy.
