Version 0.37.0 of the Goblin Camp demo has just been released. This update makes some visual improvements, fixes some workshop bugs and improves performance. Here are the full release notes:
Notable changes
- New goblin running and carrying animations.
- UI visual improvements, checkboxes and column headers look better.
- Jobs window shows jobs that can't yet start as grayed out and sorted last. It also includes details for why a job cannot start for certain jobs.
- Food status is shown as negative if the stored months of food are dangerously low.
- Deathfolk are more ghost-like and transparent.
- "Missing tools" notifications have a more suitable icon.
- Improved sky reflection in water.
- Item tooltips now describe the materials required to craft them.
- Lean-to's are no longer diagonal, goblins should run through them less often.
- Production jobs get automatically cancelled if the stock manager target for them is lowered.
- Added rotten meat graphics.
Fixes
- Alders were invisible in certain situations, but are now always visible.
- Item crafting jobs now no longer reserve a workshop in advance. This fixes certain cases where workshops might get blocked by jobs that couldn't progress due to missing materials.
- Item reservation tracking performance has been improved.
- Fixed some situations where goblins could get visually stuck inside a building.
Note that save games from v0.36 are not compatible. If you want to finish a v0.36 game there is a v0.36 Steam beta branch available that you can use to stay on the old build.
