Godstone has received a new update based on the recent feedback from the community along with new content![/p][p]Any feedback on the changes for the controllers are especially welcome, I aim to make them as good as possible and your thoughts are the best way to get there.[/p][p]Unless something crazy happens that I have to fix, this will also be the last update before releasing the next big patch adding the next area! I can't wait for you guys to experience the Crimson Gardens.[/p][p]Stay hydrated![/p][p]- Plant[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]New content:[/p][p]- Added gold as currency, which can be sacrificed as offerings at altars. In the future, it can be used for a ton more such as opening up new dungeon sections and more[/p][p]- Added Dark Altars: Sacrifice gold at these altars and choose between 2 blessings. Most of these blessings have a downside and an upside and can heavily alter your character.[/p][p]- New enemy; Temptress. A powerful flying primera casting fireballs and cursing the player with Pain. Pain causes a small explosion to grow under your feet whenever you take damage. If you don't move quickly, it erupts dealing damage a second time.[/p][p][/p][p]Changes, fixes and polish:[/p][p]- Fixed a bug that caused inventory and skillpoint menu to still be on-screen after resurrecting when it was open while you died.[/p][p]- Changed the starting controller input to Xbox. This can always be changed to playstation iand back n the settings.[/p][p]- switched the default keybindings for controllers so jump is now on X / A, and interact is on up.[/p][p]- Fixed an issue where "press X/A to start" text changed with the interact keybinding on controllers while you still had to press X/A to actually start[/p][p]- Fixed some sounds not being affected by the effects volume setting[/p][p]- Fixed an issue where using X/A as jump caused you to also jump when you pressed X/A to leave the pause menu, same goes for choosing your character in character select and ending dialogs[/p][p]- Changed how you leave menues on controllers, having it always be on the B/O button. You can also leave menues by pressing the same button used to enter it.[/p][p]- Moving your character with left stick on controller no longer influences your aim[/p][p]- You can now see your characters level in the inventory[/p][p]- Moved the icon for vault keys away from consumables. They can now be found at the bottom of the inventory next to gold currency and your character level[/p][p]- You can now check out how many powerup tomes you have collected on your run in the inventory and how many bonuses they give in total! Hold your cursor over or move the controller selector to the book button next to the stats to see them[/p][p]- You can now see how much missile bounce you have in the inventory![/p][p]- When looking at items, it now states wether its a crown, relic or consumable[/p][p]- Changed the gold text color so its less yellowy [/p][p]- Fixed an issue with dodging and sword attacking: If you attacked to one direction and tried to dodge in the opposite direction using the movement keys, you would always dodge in the direction of the attack. This now always prioritizes your movement keys.[/p][p]- Changed relic: Essence of endurance. Instead of giving 3 extra max endurance on level up, it now restores 1 endurance whenever you enter a new level[/p][p]- Polished dialog[/p][p]- Fixed an issue with inventory and skill menu still being open on screen but impossible to interact with if you open them right after you enter the final portal back to the Sanctum[/p][p]- Fixed a bug with Burning Hands, causing it to always target the direction of the mouse if using controllers[/p][p]- Fixed the Black Skull relic. It actually works now.[/p][p]- Increased the amount of missiles spawned when spreading neferin taint from 10 to 13[/p][p]- Increased the sound volume of the Neferin Breath spell[/p][p]- Buffed Neferin Taint: It now sticks on walls for longer[/p][p]- Buffed the curse debuff: Now when a cursed enemy dies, they spread neferin taint to infect others![/p][p]- Nerfed the Stormcaller relic[/p][p]- Fixed a bug that caused the buttons in the UI to not appear when leaving a note[/p][p][/p]
