- [p]Added ChasmCaller Item (Allows for quick travel)[/p]
- [p]Bought as a tentacle looking thing from the shop (1 Per game) [/p]
- [p]Left click with item in hand to place the first “gate” then left click again w[/p]
- [p]Going into one gate will allow you to “travel” to the other gate rapidly[/p]
- [p]New Upgrade texture for Line and Rod. (Stealth added last patch)[/p]
- [p]Each of the 7 rod and line upgrades will change how the rod/line look![/p]

- [p]Turned Physics Simulation off when bobber hits water. ( This will fix a alot of the issues where the bobber hits the shores and spins off into the distance, This will also allow people to fish in way more areas and allow them to fish further from shore ) .[/p]

[p][/p][p]The new map “The Canyons” is scheduled to be released on the 4th of October! It is just needing a few more creatures along with some additional testing before it will be pushed to live.
This map is going to be a bit different from what you are used with gone fishing. This map will include new types of dangers such as aerial creatures and rock slides. This map is very linear and was designed with the intention of players using the new tunnel item to better navigate the map. In addition, this map takes a new spin on the day night cycle. Rather than the shark creature coming out at 22:00 to hunt down players who have yet to hide in the cabin, players will be able to fish much later into the night. Given this, other creatures will become progressively more hostile the later it gets. The intention with this design is to force players into more intense situations by forcing them to fish later in the night without the soft lock that the shark creature presents. You can expect 33% shorter day times but an additional 50% more time at night before the shark creature comes out.[/p]

[/p][p]In addition, the portals you are used to using as fast travel will soon serve a new purpose. As of now the portals teleport you back to the cabin, however, as I finish up work on the expansion areas for each map, these portals will teleport you to new areas on the same map. For example, on the Jungle map, the portal will teleport you to a volcanic island which will have both high tier bait and fish as well as new dangers. The primary bottleneck as of now is of course, the creatures. They take the most time to create and implement by far however I am hoping to have expansion areas for all of the maps released before the end of October.[/p][p]
