[Announcement] PVP Attack Hitbox/Range Update Preview
Hello, Heroes of Bermesiah!
Currently in PVP, there is an issue where the visible attack range is different from the actual hitbox,
along with repetitive gameplay patterns that is centered around dash attacks.
These issues reduce the intuitiveness of combat and contribute to repetitive gameplay patterns, diminishing the enjoyment of PvP battles.
Therefore, this update will improve attack hit detection so that the visible attack range more naturally matches the actual hitbox.
In addition, dash attacks will be adjusted so they can be used strategically in a variety of situations, such as zoning and spacing, rather than serving as a one sided offensive tool.
We are also aware that the current combo down system can at times make the flow of combat feel interrupted.
We are currently reviewing various approaches for improving this issue, though a specific direction for the changes has not yet been finalized.
Separately from any potential improvements to the combo down system itself, we also plan to add a ‘Disable Combo Down’ option to PvP settings so that players who prefer uninterrupted combat flow can continue to enjoy the previous gameplay experience.
When this option is enabled, the combo down system will not be applied, allowing players to experience combat in a style similar to before the combo down system was introduced.
These changes will only apply to PVP and will be separate from dungeon balancing and specifications.
We will continue monitoring and improving PVP so that it can provide a fairer and more enjoyable gameplay experience going forward.

Shared Rules
■ Dash Attack
The launch effect of dash attacks will be changed to a knockdown effect.
Dash attacks will be adjusted so they can be used for purposes such as zoning and spacing control, rather than solely as an offensive tool.
However, if a dash attack is intended to launch enemies or serve as part of a combo sequence, it may be applied differently.
■ Combo Down
A ‘Disable Combo Down’ option will be added to the PvP lobby settings.
When the ‘Disable Combo Down’ option is enabled in the lobby, matches can be played in a mode where the combo down system is not applied.
