Version 1.01 Update - New Game+

[p]New Game+
After reaching the credits scene, you may now choose “Forget Once More” to begin the story again. Your Memory level, Mutations and quest progress will reset. Key items will be removed, except for The Exile's Bell, and you will restart the story with your current character. The difficulty increases to Nightmare and continues scaling with each completed cycle.[/p][p]In Nightmare difficulty, enemies have increased health and deal more damage. If you obtain trinkets, sigils, or similar items that you already own, they will be converted into a Small Coin Purse instead.[/p][p]Additionally, challenging enemies are introduced into early-game areas in Nightmare mode. You will need to approach these regions with far greater caution.[/p][p](Please note that New Game+ may currently contain issues such as duplicate items or balance inconsistencies. I have not yet had the opportunity to fully test and polish this mode. When possible, I plan to refine it further and add exclusive content tailored specifically for New Game+.)

[p][/p][p]New Consumables[/p]
  • [p]An item that instantly grants ammo[/p]
  • [p]An item that instantly grants Hellfire Bottles[/p]
  • [p]An item that restores a small amount of health[/p]
  • [p]An item that temporarily enhances ranged attacks[/p]
[p]These items have been distributed throughout the early stages of the game to better support players at the beginning of the story.[/p][p][/p]

Changes & Fixes:[/p]
  • [p]You can now see which room your Remnant is located in on the map after dying. (If you’re already Fractured, Remnant location won’t show until you die after this update. The system will work correctly for any deaths occurring after this update.)[/p]
  • [p]Added zoom in and zoom out functionality to the map. Zooming out far enough will reveal region names such as Ravenbell, The Murkway, Dreadmoore etc.[/p]
  • [p]Consumable use animations now finish faster.[/p]
  • [p]Added additional Bloodstones across various regions.[/p]
  • [p]Adjusted the Ascendant Art bonus of “Shade of Retribution.” It can now reach a maximum of 50.[/p]
  • [p]Increased the ranged damage gained from the active effect of Forbidden Art “Dirge Unbound.”[/p]
  • [p]Increased the status resistance bonuses provided by the Hallowed Thornloop trinket.[/p]
  • [p]Increased the status resistance bonus granted by Resistance Elixir.[/p]
  • [p]Sigil of the Grief bonuses now activate earlier at low health. You no longer need to be on the brink of death for its effects to trigger.[/p]
  • [p]Reduced the invisibility duration between teleport sequences during the enraged phase of the Pale Witch boss.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where consumable items assigned to the Quick Use slot would continue occupying the slot even after being depleted.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue that allowed the Antidote item to be given to Liliane before reaching Memory Level 3.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the amount of Serum refunded when resetting mutations was incorrect.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue in the "Free" Ending sequence where Laél would appear even if the player had not reconciled with her.[/p]
  • [p]Added flowers to The Sister’s grave in the "Free" Ending sequence, befitting her beauty.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a visual issue where the health bar did not display properly when Max HP exceeded 200.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue in The Merchant’s shop where the “You Have:” amount displayed the wrong count when previewing the “Sorrowflame Elixir.”[/p]
  • [p]Fixed several French localization issues, including Sallow Mimosa’s translation and the “Status” and “Sufferings” headers in the inventory.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed instances where English terms remained in certain localizations, including several lines in the Cursed Deadborn memory cutscene, as well as item names such as Cinderweave Cloth, Sallow Mimosa, and Healing Elixir.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the game could behave as if the Alt key was still held down after alt-tabbing out and back in, causing the window mode to change when pressing Enter. To prevent this, the Alt+Enter shortcut has been disabled.
  • [/p]

[p]
This will likely be the last update for a while.[/p][p]I recently learned that my home will be demolished as part of an urban transformation process. I will need to move in the coming weeks, so my focus will shift toward preparations and settling into a new place.[/p][p]Once things are stable again, I am considering a content update, if possible.[/p][p]
Until then, here’s to better days ahead. 🖤
