Yep, TWO DAYS LEFT before we close the Demo and return to Closed Beta state.

This means only those who join our Discord server (or were part of the Alpha) will be able to check out all those awesome features we gonna test!

So if you want to help Hard Bullet or just want to have more free fun, go join our server and wait for an update!

The Giveaway Bot will go live very soon, before we remove the Demo from Steam (and your Library if you were not part of the Alpha Test).

Major Improvements



Video Example Guides



We try to make Hard Bullet gameplay tricks accessible and obvious for everyonen and recorded some videos to show how to prefoms regular or special movements. This is not the final state of the Guide, we plan to update as the things go.

Perfomance Improvements

  • Reworked rendering zones, added doors to hide some parts of the level. Gives great FPS boost and do not affect the gameplay too much.
  • New physics setup, gives perfomance boost with same effects and good ground for future optimisation. May cause some objects to loose weight, will fix it later.
  • Optimised Enemies IK and Ragdoll physics, now you can have much more bodies on the scene!
  • Objects like destoryed lockers do not hide/pop up anymore.

Updates



Guns

  • Magazine autosnap is here! Now the clip jumps into empty reciever when you bring it close enough.
  • Much easier to change clips on the go for all guns, better hand pose.
  • Greater zone to put in shotgun cells.
  • Guns should not stuck into walls in the Lobby when taken.
  • Fixed: Clips do not show up after switching to Realizm.
  • Fixed: Recoil bug in/after slow motion.
  • Fixed: Accidential clips pull out. Now it shloud be much harder to make it jump from a gun into your other hand. Still work in progress.
  • Fixed bug when shotgun could stuck in the air after release.
  • Fixed: Shotgun cells sticking to a barrel.
  • Fixed: Magazine does not appear ofter switching to Realizm in some situations.
  • Fixed: Magazinegets a double on one of SMGs.
  • Fixed pistol breechlock grabbing.
AI and Physics

  • Enemies will give you less time and attack faster.
  • Returned blood particles from dead bodies
  • Dead guys can't scream anymore.
  • Enemies' bodies should not fold in half or try to stand up when you shoot them point blank.
  • Updated destruction for wooden racks and benches.
Other

  • Constantly looking for blinking objects and fixing them.
  • Fixed Bug when hands were affected by camera rotation.
  • Changed and updated lots of in-game texts.
  • Fixed lots of minor bugs.
