Quick recap of the latest updates made during this month and shreading some light on new stuff on the horizon.
Enemy Puppets Reaction Updated
Bodies Tuned for more realistic bullet and hit impacts.
Working with puppets is always hard, but when you combine melee fights and modern shootouts you always have to choose what's the best for the current game situation.
To return accurate body impacts, we had to make enemies less tought than they were before. They still can take a hit, follow you and can be grabbed, but strong hits will make them fall plus they fall if got shot from heavy weapons and loose balance.
We'll continue to look for the best solutions for all players, right now we are quite satisfied with the overall puppets behaviour and will go deeper into Sandbox interactions.
Removed New Year stuff
Hope you had as much fun as we did!
Some weapons like Carrot will return in the future updates.
Arena for Patreons and Rougelite in Closed Beta
In
Patreon build you can start a special training on new arena. Select the Kowloon map to get there (no, it's not the Kowloon map we planned before).
We are getting closer to
Rougelite Beta, so stay tuned! We'll start recruiting soon.

Added "Blunts & Blades" jian sword to the main game art to feature new update:
Next big thing — Gun Rebalance
Expect these improvements during next weeks:- Off-hand pistol grab, one hand shotgun reloading, main hand reloading (while holding gun with your off-hand).
- After setting this up, we'll start adding more complex gun physics, such as realistic recoil and force feedback.
- Customizable Gun Angle.
- If we'll have enough time before rougelike takes it all, we'll try to add break- or bolt- action guns in February.
List of other fixes and improvements:
- Polished piercing mechanic so swords and knives should stick in/out faster.
- Reworked vignette when getting a critical hit from enemies — now it's not so black.
- Bodies should not slide on the floor so easily anymore.
- Fixed a Bug when enemy could stay on the ground thinking he is still pierced by a blade.
- Fixed various sound bugs in slow motion.
