Hello there,
This patch was focused around making the Shrine more interesting and enabling the player to have more decisions. The balance of the cards might be a bit off, but I can easily adjust those as I keep working on the game.
In the next patch I'll likely rework the goal of the demo to instead be to build some sort of mini wonder (think high resource cost). I'm also going to work on adding in some refined resource types (planks, stone blocks, ore) and I need to work on the mountain and tundra tile types. Eventually, I'd like to address the villagers and make them have more personality, be nameable, and allow you to change their art when created.
I think the game is by far more fun than it was a few patches ago and I know it will only get better from here. Please let me know if you have any ideas or questions

Demo 0.8.0 Patch Notes:
- SHRINE now collects adjacent favor resources when a villager is assigned instead of being an infinite source of favor. As such the cost of the Shrine cards has been reduced.
- SHRINE is now be part of the STICKS AND STONE packs and as such more than one can now be built
- Added in FARM (food), QUARRY (stone), LUMBER CAMP (wood) which will all gather adjacent resources like how the SHRINE works. These are part of the VILLAGE MUST GROW pack.
- Tile Groups now use a weighted randomness when generating the tile group. I will likely adjust the weights in the future, but for now I wanted some sort of control of the randomness.
- Added UI to the TILES tab in the shop to show the population cap breakpoints and the current number of tiles
- Add MILITARY resource back into the game
- Removed the SCIENCE resource
- Added a bunch of new cards and rebalanced existing ones
- Adjusted which cards are in which packs
- Reworked quests to be more granular
