The 20th we finally launched Hexocity and released it to the public !
After 6 months of work we have reached the final stage of our work on this project and are now getting pretty close to starting working on our 2nd game. For those who don't know, we are followed by a Belgian non-profit called "Azimut" (helping entrepreneurs) and during the contract we have with them we are supposed to release 3 games on Steam in a little bit less than 2 years.
Closing the demo.
After the launch we deactivated the demo. There was some hesitations about letting it activated but we decided to turn it off. However we will use it again in the future for promotional events and key giveaways with streamers !
Music & chaotic launch
We wanted to offer a bundle with the music but we underestimated the time it would take to validate the files with Steam. And due to our inexperience we didn't start the process soon enough.
So we are working on it and the musics will be available with a global bundle in the coming weeks.
Future of the game
- We are going to keep on working on the game the next week and fix bugs and problems that will be brought up to us by new players.
- After that we will switch to the next project, we will keep fixing Hexocity to a lesser extend if new problems are brought up to our attention.
- So far we do not have a clear plan for future content updates. We do not know if it will be possible for us to make another game and deal with a content update for Hexocity at the same time.
Anyhow we will keep you updated about future plans :)
