Features and changes
- Items: Flashlight and laser pointer are now usable.
- Gameplay: Various global gameplay improvements.
- Gameplay: Reputation system introduced for persistent NPCs.
You can improve your reputation with certain characters by talking to them and use opportunities for building rapport.
- Gameplay: CHARISMA attribute has been implemented into the game. From now on, not every passer-by will be willing to engage in a conversation with you. The higher the Charisma, the higher the chance of starting a conversation. This chance is also influenced by the current level of stink of the player character.
- Gameplay: New begging opportunities in conversations with pedestrians. You can spend more trust points to get greater sums of money.
- Gameplay: Added crafting recipes for Strange fabric and Remarkable fabric.
- Gameplay: Trading with Anatolij has been reworked (in the anticipation of the reputation system). Now it is possible to sell only a small selection of items at Anatolij’s Pawnshop, but with no risk and prerequisites. Anatolij offers less money than pedestrians on the street, but selling items at his pawnshop increases reputation with him.
- Gameplay: Structure of the indoor NPCs Resident and Working man has been changed to improve the flow of the interaction. Structure of the option “It’s freezing outside” has been improved.
- Gameplay: Spawn tables for stealable items have been reworked.
- Gameplay: After you die, you can buy back your items from lost-and-found category from some merchants
- Gameplay: Major changes to the roles of some hobo NPCs. Named hobo NPCs can now teach player character various skills and recipes previously available at the Hobo Master. Hobo Master now does not teach skills and recipes associated with the named hobo NPCs.
- Master Hobo no longer teaches the following:
- Promotions: Dumpster Diving, Trading, Crafting, Thief, Lockpicking
- Perks: Street Vendor
- Recipes: All reconditioning, All hideout structures, Useful junk, Picklock
Some training opportunities need to be discovered through interaction with the particular hobo NPC first.
- Performance: Another round of optimisations. On our test computers we are getting more then 20 FPS improvement in some areas compared to the previous versions, but locations like train station, main street are still performance heavy, but even there you should see performance improvement.
Bug fixes
- Fixed issues with patience points of merchants after disconnecting and connecting
- Repaired English conversations, where was ' instead of '
- Fixed issues with duplicated items
