Seasons greetings to you, our dear faithful followers!

Next week we will be releasing the Honey, I Joined A Cult Update 1! Four brand new features from the Early Access Roadmap will be added to the game ready to give you new challenges and tests during your reign as Cult leader!

We'll be teasing them over the next week on social media so make sure you also follow us on Twitter and come join your fellow Cult Leaders in our Discord Server!

One thing that we are keen to stress about this update, however, is that the new features will only work on brand new save game files. This doesn't mean that your existing compounds and cultists are dead and buried though! We will be releasing a separate game branch on Steam which you can opt into to carry on playing old save games so you can take over the world with your cult of ducks! We will have more info on how to do this when the update is released.

If you try to launch a save game from an older version of the game, you will see the below warning.



Simply close the game, go into your Steam Library, right-click the game and click on properties and select the BETAS option where you can choose which version you wish to run.

If you wish to experience the new additions, just let the game update and start a brand new save game and explore what new features have been included in this update!
