CBT#2 Patch Notes

Greetings, Hunters!

Since the second Hunter's Arena: Legends CBT is just around the corner, we would like to share how the game has improved since the last test.



1. Added combat system tutorial
: As soon as you enter the game, a Combat Tutorial will be provided to help you understand the Hunter's Arena combat system.
: You can always choose to play Tutorial again in the main menu.

2. Added A.I. to the training grounds
: You can practice combat against A.I.
: A.I. has 3 difficulties. You can select any difficulty you want.

3. Added a game guide
: While playing Battle Royale mode, you will notice a lot of helpful in-game tips popping up, depending on the situation.
: You can choose to disable this function through the “Display Tips” menu in the options.

4. Added Controls Guide
: You can disable/enable Controls Guide UI by pressing the “Y” key.


Developer Comments:

A lot of players had a hard time getting used to the game during the last test. The game indeed is not easy to master, so we realized we need to do something about it.
To adapt to the game as quickly as possible, we have made a Combat Tutorial. We are still working on a Battle Royale guide, so, unfortunately, it won’t be included in this Beta.
In the future, we will continue to provide guidance to the new Hunter's Arena players.





1. Sneak attack
: Sneak Attack is activated after remaining in the bush for a certain period of time. (The character with the Sneak attack buff is not visible to other characters)
: If you engage in a PvP fight during the duration of the buff, the first attack's damage will be increased.

2. Adjusted stamina consumption while blocking
: Stamina consumption while blocking basic attacks (left mouse click) has been decreased.
: Stamina consumption while blocking skill attacks (1-5 keybinds) has been increased.

3. Infinite CC (crowd control) chain removed.
: Prevented infinite CC combos by improving the defender's recovery speed.


Developer Comments:

After monitoring the players’ strategies during the last test, we noticed that most people didn’t utilize the Sneak Attack.
We are hoping this will change with the improvement we’ve made to the Sneak Attack system.
We will continue to monitor user tendencies to correctly adjust the game balance.





1. New character added - Gyeonjo
: Gyeonjo is a beast melee tank character that is extremely effective in neutralizing single targets.





2. Basic gestures added.
: Simple communication can now be done through basic gestures.


Developer Comments:

We will continue creating different characters.
Prepare to meet new characters in the near future!





1. The overall damage balance of all the characters has been adjusted.

2. Game balance adjustments
: Adjusted the shrinking speed of the barrier
: Significantly reduced barrier damage
: The first stage of the barrier is activated at the start of the game
: Reduced fall damage
: Added experience gain when killing someone in PvP (Kilbuff is still applied as before)
: Resurrection time/cost reduced. 100% of HP is now recovered once resurrected.
: Increased attack power and experience gain when entering the Purple Zone.


Developer Comments:

After the last test, we received a lot of feedback about character balance. Our decision was to nerf Jun and Mumyung. Other characters will also receive changes to match the overall balance of the game.
We will continue to utilize our users' feedback to improve the game's balance.

Developer Comments:

The most feedback we received during the last test was about optimization of the game. I would like to apologize to all of the game testers for playing in rather uncomfortable conditions.
Although there was a very brief period between first and second CBT, we focused all of our resources on creating a better optimization.
We will continue to analyze players’ feedback to create a game enjoyable for everyone.
