Early Access is here!
It's been 2 years since my last game release and I'm feeling great. Incursion is more ambitious than what I've done before with more content, more polish, and trying on a more realistic art style I've never done before. It's been a lot of hard work but I'm glad it gets to finally see the light of day.
What's the on-release status?
The core gameplay is there along with what will end up being most of the final classes. The main gamemode "Wave Defense" has been finished along with unlockable difficulties, some unlockable equipment for your classes, and 4 maps to start with.
What are your plans for the future?
Besides quality of life improvements, and bug fixes if necessary, my goal is to continue the game how it is now but with more polish and content. There are some new gamemode ideas I'd like to explore and new map concepts I'd like to see get added. Ultimately, it'll depend on community interaction and trying to gauge where and what the interest is and what people would like to see expanded upon, improved or added.
I hope that was a good insight into my thoughts coming into release day. I'm super excited to finally be pushing this out into the public and I hope you're all excited too.
