Indie Game Battle v1.73 released!
Hey everyone!
IGB v1.73 is out! This is a rather bug update. Adds some new controller options, quite a few menu fixes and improvements, some balancing and tweaks, and even the new Final Rift redesign. Here's the changelog:
**Additions**
-Added an advanced controller options menu! Here you can set up Tap Jump, Tilt Smash Attacks, and more.
-Added a stage alt button! With it you can control whether you will play on the default stages, alt stages, or random.
-Added text on the item switch for on and off, in addition to the colors themselves.
**Changes & Improvements**
-On the stage select, the mouse cursor can now also preview stages by hovering over them. This only works if the in-game cursor isn't already hovering over one already, however.
-When pressing the smash attack button in the air, you will now do an aerial just like the normal attack button would.
-You can now press start (the pause button) on the character select to continue to the stage select.
-You can now pick up and place the player selector disks on the character select when using the mouse.
-The Final Rift stage has been redesigned and improved!
-You can now change the stage alt by using the new button for it.
-When moving around the main menu, the camera now transitions/moves quicker.
-When hit by a move with low vertical knockback on the ground, you won't get knocked down as easily.
-When using a forward tilt your horizontal velocity will now reduce slightly.
-Matt's fallspeed has changed from 150 to 165. He also has slightly stronger gravity.
-Chip's fallspeed has changed from 160 to 175. He also has slightly stronger gravity.
-Aria's fallspeed has changed from 150 to 160.
-Adventure Pal's fallspeed has changed from 150 to 155.
-Artist's fallspeed has changed from 140 to 145.
-Jarvis's fallspeed has changed from 140 to 155.
-The Kid's fallspeed has changed from 160 to 165.
**Fixes**
-Fixed menu bug where if you entered Training and then pressed back, you'd go to the wrong menu. Sometimes you could also stay in Training mode after going back and then starting a match.
-Fixed error where Pursuit's name would not be shown on the character select.
-Fixed error where Pursuit wouldn't be able to show up on the main menu as one of the randomized renders.
**Balancing**
*Buffs*
-Blue Blob's down smash, back air, and down air animations are now faster, and the hitboxes come out earlier.
-Gip's down air animation is now faster, and the hitbox comes out earlier.
