Survival Mode Update: Wipe & New Beginnings!

Hello Survivors,

We’re excited to announce the upcoming Survival Mode Wipe! This fresh start will bring everyone back to square one, leveling the playing field and offering all players a renewed challenge. Along with the wipe, we’re introducing several key changes to enhance gameplay and keep things exciting.

🌟 What's Changing in Survival Mode?
The wipe is just the beginning! We’ve made updates across various aspects of Survival Mode to improve balance, and refine the experience. Here’s a preview of what you can look forward to:

  • Original Colorado map
  • Night zombies, which are more dangerous
  • Limited access to SuperZombies
  • Improved loot system: each town now offers specific loot based on what you're searching for
  • Disable skins option
  • Crafting list reset; we will add more recipes based on player feedback
  • Contracts removed; we're planning to bring back direct missions
*These aren't all changes, just the most important ones.

Improved Loot System

This is an important update, so let me explain it in detail. Essentially, loot spawns are now determined by the number of players on the server. The more players there are, the more loot will spawn.
This change affects both Official and Private servers.

Private Server Loot

One of the most frequently asked questions is about loot balancing on private servers. Private servers have a loot debuff compared to Official servers, meaning that 50 players on a private server won’t see the same amount of loot as 50 players on an Official server. However, renting a private server allows you to farm in peace and explore the world without the risk of being attacked by others.

Missions

I’d like to move away from the contracts idea, as it doesn’t really fit a survival game.
But let me explain why we introduced contracts in the first place. Contracts are linked to your account, whereas missions you accept and complete on the map are character-based. This means that map missions can only be started and finished by a single character, while contracts can be started and completed by any character within a game mode.
At the moment, there aren’t many missions available. Completing them would have taken more time, so I’ll be preparing an update specifically for missions in the near future.

We hope these updates will create a more dynamic and engaging experience, and we’re excited to see how you adapt to the changes!

Thank you for being part of this adventure. Let’s dive into Survival Mode’s fresh start together!
