Part Two of the Helicopter Update is Coming

More helicopters are coming! Iron Conflict will be releasing helicopters for the Eagle Faction on 2/9 GMT. Consisting of 3 separate units, these helicopters can be found starting at Tier 6 on the Eagle Faction’s aircraft tree, and provide Eagle Faction players extensive air-to-ground support capabilities. With the addition of these units, the freedom afforded to Iron Conflict’s players grows more abundant and the game’s unit balance is improved. This content update comes on the tail rotors of the 1/15 and 2/4 update, which added a new map and Dragon Faction helicopters, respectively.

As the world’s first true anti-tank helicopter, the AH-1 features powerful flight, combat, and firepower capabilities. It is widely used by many countries and has been modified several times since its inception. In Iron Conflict, this line of powerful and versatile helicopters is represented by the AH-1G, AH-1F, and AH-1Z.

(Eagle Faction Helicopter Tech Tree)

The AH-1G can be said to be the first “specialized” armed attack helicopter in history. Its highly streamlined fuselage was constructed from honeycomb aluminum, and its narrow cross-section greatly reduces air resistance while moving forward. In Iron Conflict, the AH-1G is a Tier 6 unit. It has 2 special accessories slots that can be equipped with the MK4 “Mighty Mouse” folding-fin aerial rockets. These rockets provide flexible, quick, and accurate fire support, especially on the Rosefield battlefield, which is a great map for experiencing exactly what the AH-1G is capable of.

(AH-1G “HueyCobra”)

The AH-1F is a fully-modified variation on the AH-1S helicopter and is sometimes referred to as the “Modernized Cobra.”In Iron Conflict, the AH-1F is a Tier 7 unit. Like the AH-1G, it also can equip 2 special accessories, but there are some differences in its weapons systems. In addition to the MK4 “Mighty Mouse” folding-fin aerial rockets, the AH-1F can also equip 8 BGM-71C Improved TOW anti-tank missiles.

(AH-1F “Modernized Cobra”)

The AH-1Z “Viper”is a 21st century addition to the AH-1 series of helicopters. Its fuselage has been elongated to accommodate its modern hardware and to maintain its center of balance. Like the two Eagle Faction helicopters that precede it, it has 2 special accessory slots. These slots can be equipped with Hydra-70 M247 rockets, AIM-9 “Sidewinder”air-to-air missiles, and AGM-114B “Hellfire” anti-tank missiles. Its weapon versatility and ability to attack both air and ground units puts it on par with the Dragon Faction’s Tier 8 helicopter.

(AH-1Z “Viper)

These helicopters will be added to the game on February 9. These helicopters not only provide rapid mobile support, but can also effectively act as a check on tank clusters. Be sure to check them out! In addition, we will be releasing an all-new map and gameplay modes in the near future.
