Update #1 - Bugs Fixed and Solved Performance Issues - V1.0.0.19
Hello everyone,
This is the first major update for Keatz: The Lonely Bird after its release in January. I have received some valuable feedback from the Steam community and I made the changes based on them. I have solved some of the major issues and minor bugs like mission objectives not visible and so on. Here is an overview of the changes made in V1.0.0.19.
Features Improved/Added:
1. Some bugs are fixed.
2. Added more lives in some levels so that the player can get lives often and it is also necessary because you will end up having only one life when you load the game as you have already lost the lives in previous session of gameplay. It will happen because you are loading one of the saved levels with the previous changes. Having more lives is more likely to solve the problem.
3. Mission Objectives are currently visible on Loading screen. It was already present in the previous version but I have added an additional option called "Press 'Space' or 'Start' button to continue" which will appear after the level loads completely so that you can read the full information on that page. In previous version, the level used to automatically load after the loading process is done which used to prevent the user from reading the Mission objectives and any other necessary information. This is now fixed.
4. Another complaint which I have received from the community is the Performance issues (frame-rate drop) in Low-end PCs. To remedy this issue, I have optimized the game for low-end machines. I have already tested the new build in one of my old PCs and it runs at a stable frame-rate. I hope that you will not experience any lag during gameplay and it should run at 30fps.
I hope that you will enjoy the game and if you have any further suggestions or queries please feel free to write in the comments below. I will try to get back to you as soon as possible.
Thank you very much for supporting my game and I have received lots of valuable feedback which has helped me to improve the game. I will keep providing updates and fix as many bugs as possible.
Best Regards,
Anamik
