10-13-18: A bug was fixed that caused the player to be unable to enter The Depths if they had obtained Ascended Sylvanaras.
Yo!
A content update is being released today for Knight Bewitched:
-A quest log was added and is obtained automatically after obtaining the ship. (If you've already progressed past that, you can talk to the "king" figure at the entrance of Gabenport and he'll give you one) You can use the quest log at any time if you're lost and aren't sure where to go next.
-Many small balance changes were made, with most of them geared toward strengthening some underused skills while weakening certain powerful buffing skills as well as some equipment items. The main objective of these changes is to keep the difficulty relatively similar on Normal difficulty while raising the difficulty for experienced players on Hard and Heroic difficulties.
-
The Depths , accessible from Deepforge II after obtaining and enchanting Sylvanaras (though I highly recommend beating the game at least once and having the strongest equipment available first), is an optional dungeon filled with new environments, enemies, loot, and powerful bosses.
As with previous updates, if you encounter any bugs (ESPECIALLY errors involving game crashes) or have any suggestions, the fastest way to get a response and an update to the game is to email me at jkweath@gmail.com.
The purpose of The Depths is to connect
Knight Bewitched with its upcoming sequel / standalone game
Finding Light:
Featuring a graphic and music style similar to classic handheld games,
Finding Light will take place ten years after the events of
Knight Bewitched (and two years after
Mari and the Black Tower) and feature many characters you recognize as well as quite a few new ones. The Steam page and more information should be up within the coming weeks and the release date is scheduled for late October.
And lastly, I leave you with official art of one of my personal favorite characters, Malady (who you'll be seeing a lot more of in the sequel):
