Love Alone Death Version 2.0 Update

[p]Hello everyone,
and thank you to all the players who have supported Love Alone Death since its release in 2023![/p][p]After a long wait, I’m happy to finally share some good news with you.
This is the 2.0 update, and while many things have been adjusted and refined, I’d like to start by highlighting the major changes you’ll notice right away.[/p][p][/p]

1. Main Menu Visual Upgrade & Affection Menu Illustration Update

  • [p]Do you remember the old main menu illustration where Annette, Dana, and Lilith were quietly talking together in the background? In this update, that illustration has been replaced with a brand-new main menu artwork that better highlights each character’s personality.[/p]

  • [p]The overall mood of Love Alone Death remains the same, but the visuals have been refined to better match the game’s current direction.
    • You may notice that your first impression when launching the game feels a little different now.[/p]

  • [p]In addition, the affection menu has been updated.
    • Instead of the previous simple portrait-based display, affection is now shown using cute SD-style illustrations set against LAD’s notebook-themed background.[/p]
  • [p]As affection levels change, you’ll see their poses shift—and when the small heart box they hold fills up with red, you’ll discover how they change visually.
    • Please experience these details naturally as you play.[/p]

2. New Sense of Depth Added

  • [p]Similar to my latest work Purgatory’s Flower, a subtle depth effect has been added to previously flat backgrounds. When you move your mouse, the background and props now respond slightly, creating a more natural sense of space and immersion.[/p]

  • [p]+ this depth effect does not activate in every scene.
    • In certain situations, camera movement is intentionally restricted as part of the storytelling.[/p][p]For example, if Dana is holding you in place, it wouldn’t make sense for you to freely move your viewpoint, would it?[/p]
  • [p]Additionally, arrows indicating areas you can move to have been changed into animated indicators, making them easier to notice.[/p]

3. Italian Language Update

CIAO!
Italian language support has been added and can be selected in the language settings.
  • [p]Italian has also been added to The Little UNI.
    • I would like to give special thanks to my friend Matteo Bastianoni, who kindly helped with the translation as a volunteer.[/p]
