Field Raid Improvements are here! New Raid schedules, improved announcements, and Field Raid Mementos can be collected to exchange for guaranteed rewards.
Field Raid Details
- Field Raid Boss monsters only appear on designated channels: Channel 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10.
- White Dragon and Black Dragon Summon Scrolls can be used regardless of channel.
- The Field Raid announcements have been improved with more detailed information.
- The Quest zone will open and announcements will take place 3 minutes before the start of a Raid.
- The announcement will include the channel, time, and region for the Raid.
- Announcements will appear in all channels.
- A dedicated “Field Raid” tab has been added to the chat window.
- Scrolling announcements appearing at the top of the screen can be turned off in Options > Game > ETC. > View Field Raid Announcements
- Even when the announcements are turned off, you can check the announcements in the Field Raid tab of the chat window.
- Announcements do not appear for Raids started through a summon scroll.
- The Field Raid Messenger will always be available in the following towns: Tir Chonaill, Dunbarton, Tara, Filia, and Vales.
- You must have completed G3 in order to see the Messenger.
- Talk to the Messenger for more information about the Field Raids.
- When a Field Raid monster spawns, you can talk to the Messenger with Move to Field Raid to select an ongoing Raid and move to the location.
- The improved Raid Schedule can be found in the Traveler’s Guide > Raid menu, including Raid information for Sylvan Dragon and Mokkurkalfi.
- It has been changed so that Field Raid monsters appear at a fixed time, not randomly during a specific time range. The Field Raid will start at certain times on certain days.
- Appears on the hour (White Dragon, Black Dragon)
- Appears at 15 minutes of the hour (Red Dragon, Prairie Dragon, Desert Dragon)
- Appears at 30 minutes of the hour (Mokkurkalfi, Sylvan Dragon)
- Appears at 35 minutes of the hour (Ifrit, Mammoth, Yeti)
- Appears at 45 minutes of the hour (Giant Lion, Giant Alligator, Giant Sandworm)
- Raids do not spawn from 2:15 AM PDT to 10:00 AM PDT.
Contribution and Rewards
- Contribution is a score that shows how much you contributed during a Field Raid.
- Contribution can be earned by attacking the Raid monster, summoned enemies during the Raid, healing or resurrecting other Milletians, or other methods depending on the Field Raid Quest.
- The Field Raid quest zone is activated 3 minutes before the Field Raid monster appears.
- Contribution cannot be acquired before the monster appears.
- Field Raid Quests are automatically received when entering the Field Raid quest zone.
- For the Sylvan Dragon Raid, the quests are received after selecting a role.
- Some existing quests and Contribution methods have been revised.
- You will now receive a Hunter’s Role or Vanguard’s Role quest related to the Field Raid monster.
- The requirement to use Smash and Magnum Shot skills has been removed.
- The amount of Contribution that can be obtained by attacking the Raid monster has been increased.
- The contribution value that is reduced due to death has been increased.
- You can check how you can obtain Contribution from the quest in the ‘Field’ tab of the Quest window.
- In some Field Raids, your Contribution may decrease upon death: Prairie Dragon, Desert Dragon, Red Dragon, White Dragon, Black Dragon, Sylvan Dragon, Mokkurkalfi
- The amount of gold you can receive from a successful Raid increases according to the Contribution obtained, up to a maximum of 50,000 gold.
- There is a minimum Contribution required in order to obtain the main rewards from a successful Field Raid. The minimum contribution of some Field Raids has changed.
- Prairie Dragon, Desert Dragon, Red Dragon, White Dragon, and Black Dragon: 5000 Contribution
- Mokkurkalfi and Sylvan Dragon: 1500 Contribution
- The more Contribution you earn, the more likely you will obtain the main rewards.
- Contribution for the maximum main rewards probability has been increased.
- If your Contribution is below a certain level, you will not be able to obtain major rewards, including new Field Raid Mementos.
- Field Raid Mementos can now be earned by defeating Field Raid monsters.
- The amount of Field Raid Mementos earned is based on the defeated Field Raid and your Contribution.

Field Raid Monster Changes
- The survivability of Field Raid monsters has been improved.
- The monster's Health, Defense, Protection, Magic Defense, and Magic Protection have been increased.
- The stats reduction by the Brionac and Technique: Pragarah effects have been limited.
- After a certain period of time, the stats reduced by Brionac and Technique: Pragarah are restored.
- The effects of Lullaby, Sand Burst and Wind Blast cannot be applied to Field Raid monsters.
- After the Act 2: Threshold Cutter skill is used, it cannot be used again for a certain period of time.
- Field Raid monsters that can be downed have been changed so that they can no longer be knocked down.
- Black Dragon, Giant Alligator, and Giant Sandworm have been changed to be more aggressive.
- Field Raid monsters' normal monster summoning method has been changed.
- The first 15 monsters are summoned, and 7 additional monsters are summoned every minute if less than 15 normal monsters are currently summoned.
- The Snowfield Slayer summoned by the White Dragon does not follow the rules above.
- All Field Raid Monsters now have several effects that can occur during the Field Raid.
EffectCharacteristicFocus Buff
- The Field Raid monster's health and injuries are restored, and skill damage is increased.
- As the number of players participating in the Field Raid and the duration of the Raid increases, the recovery power of the Field Raid monster decreases.
- As the number of players participating in the Field Raid increases, the skill damage increase rate of the Field Raid monster decreases.
- Characters are excluded if inactive, using Hide, Crisis Escape, Flight, or Playing Dead.

Shockwave
- Deals damage and knocks back player targets at close range of the Field Raid monster, and reduces their movement speed for a short time.
- Used by all Field Raid monsters except Giant Lion and Giant Alligator
Life Ender
- Summons an area where you will die immediately if you are within the range of the effect.
- It can appear a certain distance away from the Field Raid monster, where player targets are located.
- Used by all Field Raid monsters except Giant Alligator
Dissolving Moonlight
- If you do not block the action of the Dragon within a set time, it will inflict heavy damage to the surrounding area.
- Used by Prairie Dragon, Desert Dragon, Red Dragon, White Dragon, and Black Dragon
Impending Death
- When the Field Raid monster's HP decreases by more than a certain amount, Impending Death is applied to a random player target.
- When Impending Death is applied, the target's HP continues to decrease after a certain period of time.
- If the target dies, Impending Death is applied to two additional random targets.
- While the effect is applied, you cannot receive the Glyphwright effect that restores life, and you cannot use recovery items.
- Used by Giant Alligator, White Dragon, Black Dragon, Mokkurkalfi, and Sylvan Dragon
Vast Might
- The Defense, Protection, Magic Defense, and Magic Protection per summoned normal monster within range of the boss is increased according to the number of summoned monsters.
