- The Essence system has been added!

Find Find rare Essences each run, and infuse your allies with them to change their abilities & upgrade their stats - Every ally you can use has 5 different versions to choose from!

Essences add a huge amount of flexibility, letting you make important decisions who to use your Essences on, and what type of Essence to give them. Some skills can only be found on units with Essences, letting you use exclusive combos!

You don't lose Essences when you Butcher the unit - each new one is like a key that unlocks access for the rest of the run!



Map Exploration has had its pacing & requirements improved, and now more clearly telegraphs your objectives and how to reach them.



The Skills UI has been improved, and now uses a top bar for options, and the protagonist's skills can now be sorted.

In addition, a very large number of skills have been improved or reworked, and a variety of units have had their skills changed. Take a look at your favorite units to see how much stronger they've become!
