On May 9th, first update for Millennium Runners will go live!
A big thank to everyone who has already purchased the game and supported the project with suggestions and feedback.
Version 0.0.2 includes the following updates:
- Improved main menu: Fixed some animations, added a "More Details" screen in the track selection, and implemented a feature that keeps track of your best lap-times and results on each track.
- Vortex Avionics balancing: Thanks to your feedback and comments, we noticed that Vortex Avionics (Blue Icarus) was underperforming. We've improved its performance to match that of other teams.
- General fixes and track optimizations
- Added a “wrong direction” warning signal
- Added starting grids at the beginning of each track — they also help to better visualize where the lap begins and ends
- Enhanced autopilot: Added visual and audio effects to indicate when the power-up is about to end. The autopilot now drives flawlessly and faster than normal
- EMP Rocket fix: An issue where the rocket was fired behind you. Now the rocket will fire from the correct position
- Player position fix: Addressed an issue where the player’s final position could be incorrect at the end of the lap
- Turbo bug fix for speedrunners: An issue where you could spam infinite turbo power-up has been resolved
- Audio settings fix: Master volume now actually applies the selected volume level
- Video settings fix: Removed fullscreen option and adjusted resolution selection
