Hi!
We are aware of the issues some of you are experiencing with the game and fixing them as fast as we can.
We just updated MindSeize with the first set of bug fixes, there will be many more to follow. This patch fixes the soft lock moments found on the second planet, as well as the bug that caused the save file to not work in certain rare situations. Downloading the patch should fix the save file, if you still have the problem, send us mail at support@mindseizegame.com and we will fix the file.
Full patch notes are as follows:
- The softlock down the pit on Takomo. There will be a way out now if you happened to save.
- A possible softlock up in the factory where the path was blocked even when destroying crates
- The junkyard boss won't act strangely anymore (went crazy broken in certain conditions)
- Dashkick can now actually dash kick. Balancing this in a later patch.
- Enemies destroyed outside of camera now will always die and not turn invincible
- Tooltips for the Dash Thrusters and Spider Hold fixed
- Double jump works immediately after getting the powerup
- You can now jump while crouching
- You cannot do the special melee attack anymore while crouching
- The sponge mushroomy platforms won't break anymore
- Scap magnet now works for scrap from the enemies only, price down a bit
- Getting wall jump is now much more difficult if you don't have the dash thrusters
- The "return to menu" popup is now on correct layer in every possible scenario
- Several small balance fixes and minor bugs
What will come soon in an upcoming patch, but will take a bit more time:-Game will remember the weapon you were using in the save that you load
-A fix to the graphic issues of the fast travel map
-popups to explain when you get health or nanobot container powerups
-Way to turn off camera shake and turn on VSYNC.
-The button prompts will change when you change your controller or keyboard layout, now they only show the default configuration
-A fix to the controller issues some players seem to be experiencing. As a possible quick fix that seems to work in most cases, ensure that you launch the game with only one controller plugged and use that controller for playing.
